Superstar basketball player Steph Curry, who is well-known for his amazing shooting ability in the NBA, and his wife Ayesha Curry, a best-selling author in the New York Times, are increasing their efforts to assist children in the Oakland Unified School District. Workday, a software company, hosted a golf tournament fundraiser that raised almost $2 million, greatly aiding in the organization’s purpose.
Co-founder of Workday Aneel Bhursi stated, “I’ve attended a few of the playground builds with Steph. It’s amazing. We’re all happy and in tears at the same time because we can now see what is possible.
The Currys hope their charity will last beyond Steph Curry’s playing days and become “a lifelong project.”
