The Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy is a bright new piece of hardware that the Golden State Warriors will be bringing home on Friday.

Thursday night, the Warriors won their fourth championship in eight years after defeating the Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals held in Boston.

Just before 7 p.m., the team’s aircraft landed, and NBC Bay Area SkyRanger was over San Francisco International Airport.

The only people present to meet them were the employees of Chase Centre. The Larry O’Brien Trophy was raised by Warriors star Draymond Green as he, Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and the team returned to the Bay Area on Friday night.

Wonderful. It’s great to have old Larry back at home, where he belongs. We’re champs again. It’s the Warriors Invitational, as Draymond Green mentioned,” Curry remarked.

They defeated the Boston Celtics in six games to win the NBA Finals, their fourth title in eight seasons.

On behalf of the club, Curry and coach Steve Kerr spoke. The head coach of the Warriors talked about how the team celebrated their huge victory on Thursday night.

Kerr admitted, “I’m hungover. I won’t lie.” “Just celebrating with the team last night was a great night.”

At SFO Airport, San Francisco Mayor London Breed also greeted the team and expressed her excitement over their victory.

With the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy in hand, the Warriors return home.
