Star of the Denver Nuggets Nikola Jokic has declared again that the NBA offseason is his favourite time of year.
The three-time MVP has been relishing an early break from the court since his Nuggets were eliminated in the second round of the 2024 playoffs.
After Denver won Game 5 over the Miami Heat to clinch the championship, the six-time All-Star was informed he would have to remain in the US until the team’s championship parade later in the week.

Denver lost the Eastern Conference Semifinals to the Minnesota Timberwolves in seven games.
The loss meant Jokic’s offseason started in the second half of May.
And the 6-foot-11 center is seemingly making the most of his free time.
A video emerged on social media earlier this week, showing the Serbian showing off his dance moves at a party.
NBA fans loved to see Jokic, 29, trying to relax after a tough season.
“Bro don’t even remember he’s an NBA player in the offseason,” alongside a laughing emoji.
“Basketball is a side hustle for this guy,” adding a laughing emoji as well.
“Can you imagine if Jokic liked basketball 1/4 as much as he likes the offseason,” a third joked
“It should be illegal to be this tall and this damn smooth,” one wrote.
Jokic couldn’t wait for the offseason to start even after the Nuggets won the championship last season.
No, Jokic answered, sounding distinctly disappointed.
I had to leave for home.
Jokic was amusedly overtaken during the same press conference by the volume of congratulations he had gotten.
Over the regular season of 2023–24, Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 1.4 steals.
The NBA Finals of 2024, meantime, are proving to be a highly biassed event.
The Boston Celtics won Game 3 on Wednesday 106-99 to grab a 3-0 series lead against the Dallas Mavericks.
Following his fouling out with four minutes left in the third game, Mavs star Luka Doncic came under fire for his lacklustre performance.
Saying he let his teammates down, Doncic accepted responsibility for his errors in the crucial game.
“It was tough, probably was not the smartest thing,” he remarked of his first-ever postseason foul out.
