NBA star Ben Simmons’ $17.5 million mansion in Los Angeles, where he practices basketball with his brother

NBA point guard Ben Simmons is interested in selling his Los Angeles home again, but this time at auction.

The residence has been up for sale since 2022, with a price tag of $17.495 million. The freshly constructed home is 12,000 square feet in size with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It is located in the celebrity-favored Hidden Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles on a 1.45-acre property. Under Max Nobel’s design from Nobel LA, the mansion was completed in 2021. Its luxurious and striking features included a 40-foot-tall great room and a 65-foot pool. On April 18, the property will go up for sale on Concierge Auctions’ online marketplace. The auction will end on April 30. Bids are expected to be in the $7 million to $12 million range.

Australian-born Simmons won the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year award. He has played point guard for the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. Not only is Simmons famously linked to the model Kendall Jenner, but he was born in Australia.

Simmons stated in a press release, “Unfortunately, this lovely home that I’ve enjoyed remains largely unused because I spend the majority of my time on the East Coast.” “The moment to move forward is now.”

The exterior of the house has a manly image because of the vertical reclaimed wood and charcoal-colored masonry. Inside is a double-height great room with soaring ceilings and large windows overlooking the lush courtyard. The floating brass fireplace, weighing six thousand pounds, is a unique feature of the living room. The fireplace divides the formal dining room from the living area.

For individuals who enjoy entertaining, there is a hidden chef’s kitchen suitable for a professional cook in addition to a modern kitchen. Dining outside is made easy during the warmer months with a smooth transition from the kitchen to the patio. The two exquisite fixtures by Preciosa Lighting are proof positive that Simmons has an amazing sense of style.

Every room in the house has views of the outdoors or a sense of being in close proximity to nature. A spacious stairway that goes to the upper rooms opens into a Zen garden with a bonsai tree. A soundproof movie theatre, a fitness centre created by Simmons, and a backyard area with a pool, veranda, fireplace, and cabana with a video wall and BBQ station are all included.

Additionally, there is a separate guest house featuring a private infinity plunge pool, walk-in closet, kitchenette and bedroom. Gorgeous olive trees encircle the entire property.

Working in tandem with other agents Gregory La Plant, Raynie, and Branden Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates, listing agent Rachel Salgado promises that the buyer of this Hidden Hills modern retreat will experience real luxury in every manner. “The exquisite attention to detail is visible in every part of the residence, which offers a secluded refuge for both entertainment and leisure. This is a genuine immersion into the ultimate living experience, complete with a spectacular 65-foot pool and spa, an al fresco dining area, state-of-the-art appliances, and a floor to ceiling Italian brass fireplace.

Nestled amidst the Santa Monica Mountains, Hidden Hills is renowned for its horseback riding routes, hiking paths, and convenient access to beaches, retail establishments, and entertainment.
