On Wednesday night, LeBron James and his entire family were all set to support their son Bronny on this momentous night.
This week, the eldest child of Los Angeles Lakers player and wife Savannah James celebrated his senior night at Sierra Canyon with his parents, brothers, and little brother Bryce, 15, while sister Zhuri, 8, watched from the stands.
The 18-year-old, who is still enjoying his final high school basketball season, scored a lot of points on the big night. The James family posed for pictures on the court after the game.
LeBron took Bronny and Bryce to the Lakers’ practice area in August so they could work on their dribbling, shooting, and dunking skills.
A video posted on Instagram by the father of three stated, “There’s just no better feeling than doing what I love to do with the people I love.” “Great work today Young’s #JamesGang #EarnedNotGiven”
LeBron stated in February to The Athletic that he doesn’t intend to retire until he can play in the league with Bronny, while his kid is thinking about his future in the game.
“My son and I will play my last year,” he said. “I will be wherever Bronny happens to be. If I could play with my son for a year, I would do anything. At that point, it isn’t about the money.
On his oldest son’s 18th birthday in October, LeBron posted an emotional message on social media.
“Y’all, how is this child turning eighteen today?!!? I’m not sure how to handle that,” the NBA father wrote.”I’m so proud of the young man you’ve become kid!”
“Continue to be YOU throughout your journey because it’s simply better that way!” LeBron went on to say that he would “be right beside you whenever/however needed!”
Savannah honored her baby boy with an Instagram post as well. “Happy 18th Birthday to my first baby boy!!! ,” she said. She continued, “I’m so proud of the man you have become, and I look forward to seeing you thrive and be great in the future!!!”
