Discover Anthony Davis’s exciting acting skills in a recent commercial

You can watch Davis’s episode of “SpongeBob Appreciation Day: Patchy’s Beach Bash!” for a small fee. – Do you think my bosses will let me charge for this? Patchy the Pirate, who sings the theme song and plays a side character, performs his favorite SpongeBob moments for Ron, who is a castaway played by Jon Heder from Napoleon Dynamite. You probably aren’t interested in that part of the blog post, though, since you’re reading it.

Here are a few more screenshots from the show that are too weird to be real in Photoshop.

In the main picture of the story, Anthony Davis, who has no expression at all, jumps onto a Lakers-colored yacht and jet skis to the island where Patchy and Ron are acting like SpongeBob characters, just before the show’s halfway point. After his welcome, Davis smiles and waves. It looks like Patchy sent him a note in a bottle asking him to the party for SpongeBob’s birthday.

In the video above, Davis is trying to win a Golden Globe by famously saying things like, “After the party, I will take us all home on my fancy yacht.” He then swears at “barnacles” and “tartar sauce” when his jet ski and yacht are destroyed by asteroids.

When singer Meghan Trainor and her backup dancers get to the island after being lost, Davis is locked up with Patchy and Ron and has to watch Patchy act out a SpongeBob video. Davis then yells, “Meghan Trainor and her backup dancers on a piece of cruise ship wreckage?” That’s how you should write exposition through conversation.

There is more celebrating of SpongeBob until a fight breaks out over who has the best scene. The famous scene where Patrick Star “loses” his wallet is okay, according to Davis, who told Trainor that “it had relatability.” Considering Davis lost his wallet in a Los Angeles movie theater and then found it again when he joined the Laker team, this is pretty funny.

The tense fight ends only when Abraham Lincoln (played gravely by former “Daily Show” correspondent Rob Riggle) shows up with a list of the top three SpongeBob moments chosen by viewers.

Lincoln then hooks up an engine to the island and drives it away, so no one has to live with Patchy any longer. No, not a single word in this summary is false. I also told Danny Green and Alex Caruso that I will probably be given a “random” drug test after I finish writing it.

The argument over the best SpongeBob scene is over thanks to Abraham Lincoln. The island is now united. This picture comes from “SpongeBob SquarePants” on YouTube.

This special really does have everything you’d expect from a clip show. There are celebrities who sound like they’re reading from cue cards, a crazy story, and a lot of fun memories from a show that I and probably a lot of you loved as kids. I can’t believe I didn’t know Anthony Davis was on SpongeBob until today. I’m glad I did, and LeBron James will have to work hard to beat Anthony Davis’s performance in “Space Jam 2.”
