The James family is in for a very intriguing summer. LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is a free agent, and his son Bronny may be selected by an NBA team in the draft. Even though LeBron has backtracked a little on his earlier remarks, it still seems like something the Lakers star would want to do before retiring.

A team might be encouraged to select Bronny James because of the increased likelihood of signing LeBron James as a result. The Athletic claimed that the Lakers are willing to select Bronny in the first round of the draft, but it doesn’t appear likely that Los Angeles will pick the former USC guard.

Chandler Parsons, a former forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, made a contentious comment regarding the Bronny James incident during a recent episode of FanDuel’s Run it Back program. 

Parsons remarked of Bronny, “No one really wants him unless they’re getting LeBron.” “He’s not the newest, greatest thing.”
