The Los Angeles Lakers’ big player Anthony Davis has had a good time during his time there, most notably when the club won the 2020 championship. Even so, there’s no assurance he’ll play out the remainder of his career with the team.
Without a doubt, the Lakers may decide to move Anthony Davis in a few different trades. Actually, a major trade involving the Lakers sending Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Bucks in exchange for Anthony Davis was once suggested by an NBA analyst. Given Antetokounmpo’s skill set, the Lakers would undoubtedly need to consider that. An NBA executive who talked with Sean Deveney of Heavy claims that Anthony Davis was amenable to being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in the past.
“Davis is from Chicago, and he previously entertained a move to Milwaukee. When healthy, Davis isn’t actually that much behind Giannis—some even say he’s ahead of him.”
Anthony Davis would have the chance to genuinely lead a team if he were traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. If the Bucks were to get Davis and retain everyone else on their roster, they would still be among the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Acquiring him in a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade would undoubtedly keep the Bucks competitive as well.
Anthony Davis averaged 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 56.3% from three-point range in his last season with the Los Angeles Lakers. We’ll see if he can have a healthy season the next year, but if he can maintain his health, he can be among the league’s most dominant big men.
