As a player in their relationship, Ayesha Curry, the wife of four-time NBA MVP and champion Stephen Curry, clearly outperforms him.

Steph and Ayesha laughed it off with the team and enjoyed the game even though his lone try went much beyond the batter’s box and wasn’t what he had planned.

According to NBC Sports, Steph said after the pre-game antics, “All of my friends were teasing me about how bad my pitch was going to be.” When I first got up there, I sensed a presence on my right side, so I shifted a little to the right not knowing how to let it go or anything. Just letting off some heat was all I wanted. Glad he didn’t make me seem bad and just pulled it out of the ground.

Before attempting to toss the ceremonial first pitch, 34-year-old Steph and 33-year-old Ayesha spent some time with the players in the dugout and batting cage.

As the first batter, Ayesha made it to the catcher in the middle of the base.

Given his well-known shooting ability, it seems unlikely that the basketball player will play baseball anytime soon.

Despite Steph’s lone effort being outside the batter’s box and away from his original strategy, he and Ayesha laughed and joked with their friends, enjoying the game to the fullest.

Before the game, Steph said, his friends were making fun of him for his expected bad pitching performance, according to NBC Sports. As I first ascended, I felt something tangible on my right side. As I was unsure of the proper dissipation technique, I therefore slightly adjusted to the right. All I wanted was to release a big chunk of heat energy. That he found the truth rather than painting me in a bad light makes me happy.
