Tuesday marked the official introduction of Jokić’s acting talent to NBA fans. Social media users shared videos of Jokić and teammate Peyton Watson spearheading a new Hotels.com advertising campaign.

The humorous advertisements capitalize on Jokić’s fondness for horses and his bond with Watson, yielding pleasant outcomes. As usual, the true treasure was found in the missteps.

They’re both excellent, particularly after Jokic informs Watson that the animal in the first picture is, in fact, a pony. Given that Watson is still earning his minutes, the second commercial’s bench joke is also really funny.

Ad campaign involving a famous athlete that may be the most lifelike in history may be Jokic feeding a pony with his hands in a hotel lobby and relaxing in a cabana by the pool. Both Watson’s and his dry humor are evident in the advertisements, and happily there’s also a blooper clip with the pony attempting to eat Jokic’s fingers, pooping while clinging to the leash, and Jokic scolding himself for missing his lines.

We’ll see where these commercials end up airing, but you can bet if they make a big ESPN or TNT broadcast, they’ll go viral.

Good for Jokic for doing the ads, and cashing some of the many endorsement checks he deserves.

While the finished advertisements showed that Jokić could soon become an elite pitchman like many of his NBA counterparts, the bloopers showed that he still might need a bit of practice in front of the camera.

Fans loved the light-hearted side that Jokić was able to show in the campaign.
