Stephen Curry has been an NBA champion four times and an NBA MVP twice. He is now in the liquor business with the release of Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Game Changer Distillery, which has been around since 1833 and is in Boone County, KY, on the Kentucky Craft Bourbon Trail, distilled, stored, and bottled this fine-aged bourbon over many years.
Because he loved high-quality bourbon so much, Curry was very active in every step of the process, from making the whiskey to blending it, aging it, packaging it, and advertising it. There is a special message from Curry on the label:
I’ve learned over the years that the best way to enjoy life is with other people. That time when you celebrate a big achievement, laugh until you drop in the evening, or just have a wild night of going out are the ones that you will always remember.
Curry teamed up with John Schwartz, who runs the famous Amuse Bouche Winery in Napa Valley, to work with Boone County Distilling Co. “Working together with Stephen, we made a high-quality aged bourbon that is a great value and will appeal to bourbon experts. It will also help the craft bourbon category grow to our global audience,” Schwartz said.
Gentleman’s Cut was made in 500-gallon copper stills and aged for 5 to 7 years in charred new white oak barrels. It has a full body, a complex aroma, and tastes of cinnamon, seared caramel, and sweet toasted chestnut. Curry’s name, which means “truly fine spirit,” suggests that he moves well on and off the court.
Curry went on to say, “Celebrations come in many forms, from small get-togethers to big events, and at the heart of every memorable moment is a spirit rooted in history and tradition.” Gentleman’s Cut, a new signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon that I helped make, makes me happy. This bold, complex, and rich bourbon is the perfect gift to mark life’s important events, and it will be a part of a raised glass moment in the lives of my fans, friends, and family.
