The best player for the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis, has raised expectations among NBA fans by appearing to bulk up over the summer.

Earlier this week, the Lakers posted images of the eight-time NBA All-Star working out on social media.

Davis was seen performing pull-ups and lifting weights in the pictures.

The former No. 1 pick changed his look significantly from the previous season by letting his hair grow and going unbraided.

However, his physical metamorphosis garnered even greater attention on social media.

A lot of NBA fans noticed that Davis appeared larger, with his arms and biceps looking noticeably more developed and rounder.

In 2022–2023 Davis was a listed 6-foot-10 large man weighing 253 pounds.

Fans of the Lakers will be hoping that the added weight will keep their top player injury-free.

With an average of 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game last season, he was in incredible form.

But due to foot and back problems, Davis was unable to play in more than 60 games during the regular season.
