Golden State Warriors Reign Supreme: Stephen Curry’s Three-Point Barrage Against the LA Lakers Sets the Stage for Play-in Showdown

In a crucial playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors “gifted” their opponent with a masterful 3-point shooting display.

The Los Angeles Lakers (9th place, record 45-34) and Golden State Warriors (10th place, record 43-35) are meeting in the NBA series on April 10 and both teams are keen to win.

The Warriors want to beat the Lakers in order to improve their chances of finishing in ninth or higher in the standings, eighth overall, and two advantageous spots in the Play-in group. The Lakers want to win in order to move up to eighth place in the West and eventually into the top six.

But nothing went as planned on a terrible day for fans of the purple and yellow squad.

Anthony Davis, a key player for the Los Angeles Lakers’ offense and defense, was injured and unable to play from the beginning.

Due to a lack of players, LeBron James was forced to play in an unstable situation. James’ efforts were for naught, though, as the Golden State Warriors produced a long-range game that will go down in club history.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Crypto.com Arena appears to have been transformed into a shooting range by the Golden State Warriors. With 26 3-pointers made in the paint, the squad as a whole had a “huge” success rate of 63.4% (26-41 3PT).

The second-most successful 3-pointer in Golden State Warriors history came in this particular game. Just a long shot separates Stephen Curry and his colleagues from matching the record of 27 3-pointers set precisely a year ago.

Golden State upset the Los Angeles Lakers 134-120 on the road thanks to this terrible long-range effort.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with six 3-pointers in a “no-miss” fashion, finishing with 23 points and eight assists in a 6-6 3PT on a day when many Warriors players were active.

Young defender Brandin Podziemski, who has 3-3 3PT and 5-6 FG, is also 100%. Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, and Gary Payton II added ten more 3-pointers (10–18 3PT).

Despite not having a reliable 3-point shooting ability, even Draymond Green finished the game with 5-7 3PT, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds.
