Being the son of an NBA star had a great weekend.
When they played for Sierra Canyon in the Chosen-1’s Invitational on Saturday, both Bryce James and Justin Pippen, sons of LeBron and Scottie, put on great shows.
The game was won by Pippen, who scored 21 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, passed the ball five times, and stole two times. The 83-55 win also had James come off the bench and do a great job. He scored eight points, had five steals, and made two assists in 21 minutes.
James looked very at ease running the offense, and he made two three-pointers with ease while he was on the floor.
In the meantime, Pippen is the team’s top scorer right now. Something he thanks his dad, his NBA brother, and his friends for:
“My dad just taught me to be tough and forget things quickly,” Pippen told Yahoo Sports. It’s always about the next play, and I learned a lot from him and my brother Scotty Pippen Jr. It seems like we all work really hard in practice, and it shows in the game.
In their classes, James and Pippen are two of the most rapidly rising trainees. So far, Bryce has visited Ohio State and USC without a job.
