At Me’s Paris Fashion Week, Jayson Tatum and Rui Hachimura were named Jordan Brand Ambassadors. Jayson Tatum and Rui Hachimura have become basketball ambassadors for Jordan Brand. The news came out during Me‚’s Paris Fashion Week. With the 2024 Summer Olympics going to Paris and many basketball clubs in the area, Jordan Brand wants to get more attention in the city.
The party was held at the House of Jumpman, a fancy hotel in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. People who came were met with a basketball court made out of poles with rows of white balls on them. Tatum, who was born in St. Louis and was picked by the Boston Celtics with the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, was thrilled to join the brand and get approval from Michael Jordan, whom he considers to be the best player of all time.
Nike Inc. owns the Jordan Brand and has more than 50 player ambassadors in a wide range of sports. Well-known players like Maya Moore, Blake Griffin, and Kemba Walker were also at the event.
The event showed off Jordan Brand’s 2018 Flight Utility theme updates, such as the 23 Engineered clothing line, which has practical jackets made of high-tech reflective nylon and bright color washes. The company also showed off the Jordan Trunner NXT HTM, which was made in partnership with Mark Parker, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Tinker Hatfield. A lifestyle line for Paris Saint-Germain was also released, featuring unique infrared accents. Also shown was the Quai 54 collection, which was made to honor the 15th anniversary of the famous streetball competition.
Overall, the event showed how committed the brand is to new ideas, tradition, and working together. Jayson Tatum also said he wanted to bring his own artistic vision and stories to the Jordan Brand.
