With a hard-fought 124–113 win over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night, the Boston Celtics extended their impressive winning streak to nine games. Sharpshooter Sam Hauser came up big in this game. Hauser lit up the scoreboard by making seven of eight 3-point shots. He finished the game with 23 points and was a key part of Boston’s win.
Star forward Jayson Tatum, who scored 26 points and gave out six assists, helped Hauser lead the Celtics’ charge.
Al Horford also played a big role. He scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help Boston win their sixth straight road game. Even though they were missing several key players, like Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis, because of injuries, the Celtics showed how deep and tough they are by coming together to get another win.
And even though DeMar DeRozan played hard and scored 28 points with nine assists and six rebounds for the other team, the Bulls lost in the end. Even though Alex Caruso, Ayo Dosunmu, and Nikola Vucevic all scored 14 points for Chicago, it wasn’t enough to beat the Celtics’ tough play.
The Bulls showed how good they were on offense by making an amazing 57.3 percent of their shots from the field. However, they had a hard time stopping Boston’s constant attack, especially from beyond the arc. As a result, the Celtics took advantage of their chances and made 21 of their 48 3-point tries. Hauser’s impressive shooting led the way.
Even though the Bulls shot an impressive 59.1 percent from the floor in the first half, the Celtics still had a slim 66-60 lead at halftime. But the Bulls fought back in the second half and took the lead for a short time before the Celtics took back control going into the last quarter.
With this win, Boston has now swept their season series against Chicago, showing how strong they are against their Eastern Conference foes. The Celtics’ amazing winning streak shows that they are a strong team in the league, and they’re still heading toward the playoffs with confidence and energy.
