Michael Porter Jr. was projected to go first or 15th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, but he was taken 14th overall by the Denver Nuggets.  

A few weeks after the draft, the Columbia, Missouri native inked a four-year contract with the Nuggets that could pay him up to $15.4 million. On Monday, the 20-year-old made his first purchase with his NBA contract, surprising his mother with a brand new automobile.

Everyone was surprised, save his mother, who was completely taken aback when she realised what her son had done.
