By selecting Jokic in the second round, the Denver Nuggets executive office made the proper decision. He is the best player in NBA history to be taken in the second round. Jokic also holds the record for the MVP award with the fewest points required. They undoubtedly acknowledged his brilliance, but I can not help but wonder if chance also had a part.

Nikola Jokic’s agent, Misko Raznatovic, recently related a story about the day in 2000 that Jokic received a Denver Nuggets jumper. The Denver Nuggets owned the jumper.
