The Los Angeles Lakers star D’Angelo Russell wore “Way of Wade” shoes back in 2022. Wade and Li Ning collaborated to design Russell’s exclusive Wade DLO ICE Low. 

In the moment, it seems as though D-Lo has received yet another pair of personalised shoes that aren’t available for purchase in the sneaker market. On the official Way of Wade website, the shoe model is available for purchase for $199.

Russell displayed his personalised Way of Wades, which were inspired by Kobe Bryant, to the media at the LA Lakers’ most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. Bryant’s two jersey numbers, eight and twenty-four, were holographically featured on the tongue of the entirely purple and gold colorway. 

This was D-Lo’s way of honouring the legendary Lakers player who passed away.
