Taylor Swift just wore a piece of jewellery that holds special meaning for her on her most recent trip to the recording studio.
The 34-year-old vocalist of “Lavender Haze” accessorised her casual athleisure ensemble with a necklace featuring a quotation from the late basketball player Kobe Bryant. The necklace was part of Vanessa Bryant’s 2022 Mambacita x ZC jewellery capsule collection, an L.A. collaboration with Zoë Chicco Fine Jewellery.
Swift’s necklace had a gold circle charm with the phrase “Bet on yourself” with Kobe’s entire name engraved beneath it. The gold ring was encircled with diamonds, which brought the motivational saying to life.
Since Vanessa’s collection was only available to the public for a month following its release, the pendant is no longer available for purchase online. On Thursday, though, Swift sported a $120 Men’s Adidas Graphics Animal Polar Fleece Jacket.
In 2022, Vanessa, then 41, thanked her followers on Instagram for their support by posting a picture of the collection. The Mamba and Mambacita Foundation, which is committed to fostering positive change for underprivileged athletes and boys and girls in sports, will get 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the limited capsule, which will be available for one month, the author stated.

In the unveiling, Vanessa is seen sporting a second gold pendant necklace. In it, her late husband is quoted as saying, “Dedication makes dreams come true.”
Swift has decided to honour her friend Kobe and his daughter Gianna Maria-Onore, who passed away in 2020 at the ages of 41 and 13, in a number of ways, including the jewellery she wore on Thursday. In 2015, Kobe took part in Swift’s 1989 World Tour, which stopped at Los Angeles’ The Staples Centre.
The pop sensation famously stopped singing “22” during an Eras tour stop in Los Angeles in August to give a big hug to Bianka, the 7-year-old daughter of Vanessa and Kobe, who was there with her mother and sister Natalia Bryant, who turns 20 next week.
Vanessa posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram with the caption, “We love you @taylorswift ❥.” Capri Kobe, their 4-year-old daughter, did not accompany them to the performance.
