Austin Reaves reveals how the Lakers can maintain momentum after the All-Star break

Before the All-Star break, the Los Angeles Lakers had won six of their last seven games. A big reason for that was an offense that was clicking, especially with Austin Reaves, D’Angelo Russell, and Rui Hachimura playing better.

The current run of good play couldn’t have come at a better time for the Lakers, who are in a tough race to make the playoffs. Even though they are losing defensive players, L.A. is barely surviving, and guys are stepping up to fill the gaps, which is very much needed.

It’s important to keep up this level of play as the season winds down. The purple and gold will be back in action on Thursday. Reaves told them over and over that they need to keep playing the right way if they want to make it to the playoffs.

When asked about it, Reaves said, “I think it’s just continuing to play the game the right way.” “It’s not very complicated; if we have to, we’ll just watch the games where we played well and copy that.” You can’t change whether you always make shots or miss shots, but you can change how hard you work and how you play.

The Lakers have to work hard to get back into the top six in the Western Conference after the All-Star break. It feels like they’ve been here before. But Reaves and the Lakers have been in this situation before, so they know they can do what they’re doing. “For sure, it’s a new season. “But we can definitely see where we were last year and how we finished the season, which helped us carry that momentum into the playoffs,” he said. “Of course, you can think about how we were successful in the last few games and use that to guide what we’re doing now.”

Due to the short length of the normal season, L.A. only has 26 games left. But anything is possible when Anthony Davis and LeBron James are on the team. But they can’t do it by themselves; Reaves and the rest of the crew will have to keep helping the two stars.

Even though the Lakers haven’t always been steady, they need to keep playing at this level. It should be easy for Reaves’ friends to understand how he is running his game. They can choose to play with effort and energy, and if they do it every time, they will win.

Even though I had high hopes for this season, things have not gone as planned so far. There is some uncertainty going forward because the team didn’t make any trades at the trade deadline, but Reaves is still “confident” in the squad.
