Derrick White scored 28 points, Jayson Tatum added 25 and the NBA-leading Boston Celtics won their season-high seventh straight game, beating the Chicago Bulls 129-112

The Boston Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 129–112 on Thursday night, with Derrick White scoring 28 points and Jayson Tatum scoring 25. They have now won seven straight games, which is the most in the NBA this season.

Tatum and White both made five of Boston’s 23 three-point shots. After beating Brooklyn by 50 points before the All-Star break, Jaylen Brown scored 21 points to help the Celtics win again by a large margin.

Before halfway, Boston was down by three points after being ahead by sixteen. In the third, they took back control. In the quarter, the Celtics beat the Bulls 37–21.

Vucevic scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Chicago. When the Bulls played the Celtics, they had another bad night. Coby White scored 20 points and DeMar DeRozan added 19.

A terrible loss at Boston in late November gave Chicago a 5-14 record, which was very bad. The Bulls got back on track and won 21 of their next 36 games, even though Zach LaVine got hurt and couldn’t play for the rest of the season.

The Celtics quickly took back control in the second half by scoring 10 points in a row to begin the third. Kristaps Porzingis capped off the run with a 15-footer that made the score 69–62 in favor of Boston. Jrue Holiday and White each made three-pointers.

Right after each other With just under four minutes left in the third, Tatum and Sam Hauser made three-pointers that made it 86–72. The Celtics would go on to win the game.

After being down by 16 points in the first quarter, Vucevic scored 20 points and Dosunmu added 12. This gave Chicago a 62-59 lead at halftime.

The Bulls scored 39 points in the second quarter and shot 70%. Vucevic made two free throws with 1:58 left in the half to give the Bulls their first lead since the beginning of the game. After Alex Caruso made a save in the last few seconds, Dosunmu put them back ahead with a three-pointer from the wing. Chicago went into the locker room ahead by three points after Brown missed a three-pointer for Boston.
