The Warriors’ season has been all over the place, but there have been a few bright spots for the fading dynasty. Among them is youngster Brandin Podziemski, whose impressive play has led to the benching of Klay Thompson in favour of promoting him to the starting lineup.

It would appear that Podziemski is a great one-on-one player in addition to having an excellent all-around game that allows him to fit in with most of the Warriors’ lineups. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, he even prevailed over Stephen Curry and Chris Paul in a King of the Court-style confrontation during the previous preseason.
