As a kid, Jayson Tatum looked up to Kobe Bryant and was a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers star. The Black Mamba had ties to the purple and gold because he hated the Boston Celtics so much.
Tatum has always had a moment to honour Kobe since the player died in a sad helicopter crash last year. Not long ago, he got a new tattoo to remember Bryant.
In order to make Bryant’s second career number, 24, he used two “black mambas,” which is Kobe’s own nickname. After Tatum put a picture of his tattoo on his Instagram story, another picture of it became public.
Before and after Kobe joined the NBA, he was linked to JT. They also worked out together. Gilbert Arenas is one of the guys who thinks Tatum will be the next Bryant in the NBA.
KB24 liked Jayson a lot and even asked the Lakers why they didn’t pick him in the 2017 NBA draft. They spent some time together from 2017 to 2020, when Kobe died.
Since then, the Boston Celtics forward has worked hard to make his hero happy on the floor. And JT is almost at his best. Celtics fans must be excited to see what this great player does next.
