Thursday, the New York Knicks acquired two crucial scorers from the Detroit Pistons: Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks.

In the transaction completed prior to the NBA trade deadline, the Knicks delivered Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono, and two second-round picks to the Pistons.

Due to injuries, the New York Knicks are operating without their starting frontcourt, which included All-Star Julius Randle, OG Anunoby, and Mitchell Robinson. In an effort to make up for the bench scoring lost in December, when they traded Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett to Toronto in exchange for Anunoby, the Knicks have been searching for a replacement.

They discovered it in Burks, who previously performed admirably for the Knicks, and Bogdanovic, a dependable outside shot.
