Lakers injury report: They plan to have Jarred Vanderbilt and Rui Hachimura back tomorrow night against the Rockets.

This season (2023–24), the Los Angeles Lakers have had a lot of players who are sick and players who have left the team.

Lakers get major Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt injury updates

The Lakers have had the most trouble with guard depth. Jarred Vanderbilt hasn’t played yet, and Cam Reddish missed some time because he hurt his adductor. Also, Rui Hachimura missed some time this week because he broke his nose in their loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Hachimura’s broken bone was fixed in surgery, and everything went well.

But things look better now that the Lakers have shared their list of injured players for Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets. They should be able to play since Vanderbilt and Hachimura aren’t on it. Reddish and Jaxson Hayes will be back, of course.

Vanderbilt’s first game of the season is coming up. Since he hurt his left heel, he has been out. Hachimura hasn’t played since he broke his nose a week ago.

Hachimura’s return would help the Lakers a lot because he’s one of the few players on the team who can make his own shot and crash the boards. This season, it’s been hard for the team to score and get points in the half-court, so Hachimura’s loss is felt very much.

A lot of other players have played with masks on to protect their eyes, so the Japanese player shouldn’t have too much problems.

Vanderbilt is another great player to have back, but he may only be able to play a certain number of minutes because he was out for so long.

Davis doesn’t want to say anything until the Lakers get better.

Los Angeles has lost 20 games this season, so it’s hard to say what they’re like. Anthony Davis has been to almost all of the games so far. He is waiting to say what he thinks until he sees the team and knows everyone is okay.
