Reddish has had a lot of small issues this season, so this break is hard for him. The winger recently missed some games because of pain in his hips and knees. The player hurt their ankle when the team lost to the Clippers on Tuesday.

Before James Harden could make a 3-point shot, Reddish slammed into the Clippers star’s foot and rolled his ankle. He was in a lot of pain right away and had to go back to the locker room. He finally went back to the game, though.

He did roll his ankle pretty badly, though, so it’s not a surprise that he will be out for at least two weeks. The Lakers are about to start a six-game road trip that Reddish will probably miss the whole thing.

When they get back to their home court on February 8, it will be too late to trade for him. But Reddish’s name hasn’t been mentioned in any reports. It is possible that he is traded before the deadline and has played his last game for the Lakers.

No matter what, Reddish has done a good job for Los Angeles this season since getting a veteran’s minimum deal with the team in the summer.

Reddish has played in 35 games and started 26 of them. He has averaged 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while hitting 40.5% from the field and 33.7% from 3-point range. Reddish has made the biggest difference on defense, where he has often covered the best wing player on the other team. The Lakers will miss having him on the court.

It’s never good to be hurt and miss time, but it’s good to see that Reddish didn’t break anything that would keep him out for a long time. But for now, the Lakers will have to keep going as they try to make the playoffs without the 24-year-old.
