With Draymond Green at center, the Warriors started with a small group of players. Anthony Davis looked strong right away, starting with a putback dunk and then a block.

LeBron James was also on fire, scoring seven early points to put the Lakers ahead. However, Stephen Curry answered right away with a 3-pointer, as he has done many times before.

Vanderbilt was all over the court to start the second, and D’Angelo Russell found him for a dunk that made the Warriors call a timeout.

Early on, though, Warriors youngster Brandin Podziemski did a great job of keeping his team in the game by making a three-pointer during a timeout. Curry then came back in and made another three to take the lead again.

The Lakers got some good minutes from Christian Wood in the second quarter. He made some tough baskets. Another player like that for Golden State was Jonathan Kuminga. He ended his run with a spinning dunk in transition. With their cheap threes, he and Andrew Wiggins got everyone at the Chase Center excited.
