LeBron James completed with two free throws with 1.2 seconds left in the second overtime period to help the Los Angeles Lakers overcome the Golden State Warriors 145-144 on Saturday night. James also outperformed Stephen Curry and pulled down 20 rebounds and 12 assists.
In the second overtime, Curry scored the game-winning 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds left. With 1:22 left, he then made another basket over Anthony Davis, finishing with 46 points and a season-high nine 3-pointers.
In the second overtime, D’Angelo Russell converted a long-range jump shot with 53 seconds left. He made another one earlier in the fourth after struggling to score 28 points late in regulation.
James scored 12 points in each of the two overtime sessions to record his third triple-double of the year and 110th career. Davis scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
