Russell didn’t score in the fourth, but he finished with just one less 3-pointer than his career high. He also played another great game before the trade deadline, which is making it harder for the Lakers to decide what to do with him. The point guard’s deal is very flexible, but Los Angeles needs to decide if it can get enough in return to change its.500 season, especially if Russell can keep up his recent run of great play.

James beat Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record earlier Thursday to become the first player in NBA history to be named an All-Star 20 times. James will start his 20th All-Star Game. Last season, he passed Abdul-Jabbar as the league’s all-time top scorer.
