The 47-year-old former football player was beaming as he sat next to fellow Britishman James Corden, who had just declared his intention to leave the United States and head back home.
Together, the two attended the American Express Presents Carbone Beach event, which featured basketball legend LeBron James and promised a “incredible culinary experience.”
The promoters went on: “Chef Mario Carbone will cook a seated meal for each evening of the limited engagement, which will start with a carefully designed cocktail hour.
“This spectacular dinner party will feature CARBONE’S classic dishes, served with the sense of theatre and luxury synonymous with the restaurant’s dining experience since it opened.”
As he stood with 37-year-old LA Lakers player LeBron and gave the celebrity a big hug, Becks couldn’t contain his happiness.
Then he smiled as the two posed for a group photo.
The sports star splits his time between his gorgeous £6 million Cotswolds house and the United States.

After opting to leave his popular US chat show, he wants to see more West Ham games and spend more time with his family in Britain.
“It’s been a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show,” James stated to the US entertainment website Deadline. To be extending [for a year] makes me very happy.
“I always assumed I would stay for five years, after which I would depart.
“I’ve really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure.”
