Following the game’s intense competition, the postgame scene stunned both the spectators and the analysts when Reigning MVP Emid Eimidi, who had yet to win a championship, murmured a message into Jokic’s ear.

Eminid disclosed to Allie LaForce during an interview what he had said to Jokic.

Embiid disclosed, “I just told [Jokic] he is the best player in the league.”

“As I previously stated, he did indeed win the championship.” The league’s finest team, [the Nuggets], and he is the Finals Most Valuable Player. So I simply advised him to persevere, that I would see him in two weeks, and to continue with his endeavors. You are the finest in the league for this reason.”

In addition to seven rebounds and ten assists, Embiid led his Sixers to a 126-121 victory over Jokic’s Nuggets. He also recorded 41 points. The reigning MVP of the NBA Finals, Jokic, finished with 25 points and 19 rebounds.

Due to the fact that the Sixers and Nuggets are from different conferences and have not met in the Finals, the two centers have not faced off in the postseason. Embiid has a 6-2 head-to-head record against Jokic in the regular season.

Last season, Embiid dethroned Jokic as the league’s MVP. Additionally, he hopes to defeat Jokic and win the NBA championship.
