A group of starters made 21 of the team’s season-high 23 3-pointers, which helped Memphis get its second win in six games. Ja Morant scored 21 points and Desmond Bane scored 24 points with 13 assists.

Fans don’t like how Ham changes players and splits up playing time when the team is lost. They don’t like how he tried to start with just defenders around James and Davis, but it didn’t work in the beginning.

Ham said, “It’s okay if people don’t like the work I’m doing.” “I’m going to work hard until I can’t do it any longer.”

James scored 14 points in the first quarter by making all four of his 3-point shots. The Grizzlies made nine 3-pointers before halftime, with Smart making five of them. Smart missed 16 straight 3-point shots in the five games before he made his second shot against the Lakers.

Nashville’s Vince Williams Jr. missed his second straight game because his left foot hurt.
